Tinubu hints about working with El-Rufai, begs him to stay in Nigeria after finishing second term

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu,

has pleaded with Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai not to leave the country when his term expires in 2023.

Tinubu stated on Saturday in Kaduna that Nigeria needs thinkers and doers, thus his appeal to El-Rufai not to pursue another educational degree immediately after his tenure ends.

The APC flagbearer said Nigeria and Nigerians need the creativity of a person like El-Rufai at a time like this.

“We need your creativity at this critical time,” he begged the Kaduna State Governor.

In a swift response to the APC candidate’s speech, Governor El-Rufai walked to the podium and promised to stay behind to contribute his quota.

“I promise to stay even on a part-time basis,” he said.
