Tinubu takes oath of office

The winner of the 2023 Nigeria’s presidential election Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu has taken the oath of office as the 16th president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

At a ceremony graced by dignitaries from home and abroad, President Tinubu took the oath that was administered by the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Justice Olukayode Ariwoola.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu was born in Lagos and had his education in Lagos and Ibadan.

President Tinubu attended St. John’s Primary School, Aroloya, Lagos, Children Home School, Ibadan, Richard J. Daley College, Chicago and Chicago State University, Chicago.

Tinubu is a graduate of science degree in Accounting.

He was elected to the senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under Social Democratic Party (SDP) in 1992 and governor of Lagos State in 1999 and 2003.

Bola Tinubu is married to Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
