The Nigerian troops under “Operation Of Hadarin Daji” have rescued 10 people kidnapped by bandits in Zamfara state.
The Nigeria Army spokesperson Major General John Enenche disclosed this on Sunday.
He said, the operation was carried out after the command received an emergency call complaining about bandits’ suspicious movement in Yanyewa village in Zamfara state.
The bandits ran away leaving behind their victims at the scene, after the troops arrived for the rescue operation.
The spokesperson added, the victims have been reunited with their family.
