*Tells Biden to ‘Resign In Disgrace’

Former U.S.A. president Donald Trump’s undisguised resentment and animosity towards his Democratic Party successor, President Joe Biden appears unrelenting as the former taunted the incumbent over the collapse of the US-backed government in Afghanistan two weeks before the proposed withdrawal of US troops.
Trump has reportedly called on President Biden to accept responsibility for the fall of the Afghan government and to “resign in disgrace”.
Trump underscored the fact that the Taliban has chased away the U.S-sponsored government in Kabul, seizing power in Afghanistan after U.S.A. had sunk at least $2 trillion in prosecuting the war against the Taliban militia in the last 20 years.
The insurgents first launched deadly attacks on Afghanistan in 2001.
Nevertheless, Trump said that the dislodging of the US-backed Afghan leadership amounted to a humiliation of the Government and people of the United States of America, advising Biden to resign.
The former president justified the call for resignation of his successor on claims that Biden has failed to check the upsurge in COVID-19 pandemic and alleged economic downturn in the country.
Trump said in a terse statement, “It is time for Joe Biden to resign in disgrace for what he has allowed to happen to Afghanistan, along with the tremendous surge in COVID, the Border catastrophe, the destruction of energy independence, and our crippled economy.”
Although, Biden had stoutly defended his administration’s decision to withdraw its troops from the Arab country at the end of this month, the Taliban invaded the Afghan capital in stunning fashion and took firm control by weekend, causing panic among the citizens and foreigners alike.
The US swiftly moved to evacuate its ebmassy officials and staff, sheltering them at the airport at the capital while it deployed thousands of fresh troops apparently to shield and ease the evacuation process.
Many U.S. military helicopters were busy since Sunday whisking American diplomatic officials to the airport in Kabul amidst the frantic rush by thousands of other foreigners and Afghans scampering for opportunity to escape the savagery of the nascent Taliban government.
Amid the impendibg mass airlift, the flag was lowered at the US Embassy in Kabul and American government announced it was assuming temporary control of air traffic at the airport.
Observers believe that numerous Afghan nationals and foreigners have real cause to fear a Taliban rule, mindful of imminent reprisal attacks for their roles and association with the U.S. and its vanquished puppet government in Afghanistan.
