UAE suspends visa issuance to Nigerians

The United Arab Emirates Immigration authorities have announced a visa ban on Nigerians.

According to information the UAE sent to ts business associates in Nigeria, including travel agents on Friday all submitted applications are rejected and fees non-refundable.

The Dubai authorities stated that all applications were on hold until disputes between the UAE government and the Nigerian government were settled, despite the fact that no explanation for the suspension was provided.

All Nigerians attempting to enter the UAE will now be subject to the most recent decision made by the UAE immigration officials.

“All Dubai applications submitted are now rejected. It is general for Nigerians and approvals are on hold at the moment.

“Kindly advise your clients to resubmit C2=A0 applications when the issue is resolved between both governments,” the notice to  Nigerian travel agents contained.
