Former Kaduna Central Senator, Comrade Shehu Sani has said that only God would save Senator Ogbonnaya Onu from humiliation, following the defection of Enonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi, to All Progressives Congress (APC) from People Democratic Party (PDP).
Reacting to the defection, Sani suggested that the sword of Damocles is now dangling over the Minister of Science and Technology’s head.
“ With the defection of Umahi, only God will save the Minister of Science and Technology Ogbonnaya Onu from humiliation,” he tweeted.
Governor Umahi had few days ago defected to the APC, blaming the defection on PDP’s alleged marginalization of the Southeast.
However, former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose dismissed Umahi’s claim.
Fayose had maintained that Umahi’s defection to APC had nothing to do with the Igbo nation.
