Governor of Rivers State Nyesom Wike has announced the appointment of 14,000 advisers for various political units in the state.
In a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Kelvin Ebiri, on Tuesday the governor said that the advisers were appointed to play an important role in his administration.
Wike also appointed 40 Local Government Area Liaison Officers and 319 Ward Liaison Officers in addition to the 14,000 advisers.
