Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, on Wednesday at his home in Port Harcourt.
Both Wike and Obi did not, however, speak on the purpose of the meeting to the journalists.
Wike, agrrieved with his lost in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primaries is reportedly making move to work against the party.
Wike had expressed interest in running on a joint ticket with Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s nominee for president, but Ifeanyi Okowa, the candidate from the Delta, was selected.
Until his defection to the Labour Party days to the Presidential Primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Obi and Wike were presidential aspirants of the PDP.
Obi was also Atiku’s running mate in 2019, emerged the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party.
