The wife of Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, Zeenat El-Zakzaky has tested positive for coronavirus in prison.
The is was disclosed by the Islamic Movement of Nigeria spokesperson Ibrahim Musa in an interview with BBC Hausa.
The only of surviving son of the movement leader Sayyid Ibrahim Zakzaky has on Thursday writes on his personal Twitter account that his mother had complained of body weakness and fever after she was visited by doctors.
He added as a result of the complaints she was tested and it confirms that, she positive for the virus.
Sayyid complained that his mother is still not receiving the proper medical care.
Kaduna State government has refused to comment on how an inmate tested positive for the virus.
